Borges’s short story is about a society dictated by an all-encompassing lottery. Using sacred geometry as a conceptual framework, I explored a core theme: the human impulse to rationalize chaos. To immerse readers, I created period artifacts and thematic footnotes, and included excerpts from primary research.
